My Life is Heil
A 35-year-old German Tourette's sufferer who can't stop shouting 'Sieg Heil' has told how he lives in constant fear of being attacked by offended passers by.
Daniel Weber, from Berlin, explained: "It gets worse when I get nervous. So if I'm on a bus or a train and I see anyone with an immigration background I start worrying about what would happen if I lost control.
"But the more I worry, the more likely I am to have an episode. Then I can't stop myself from shouting 'Sieg Heil'."
He was speaking out after another Tourette's victim - who can't stop making heil Hitler salutes at black people - was beaten senseless in Hamburg.
Gerrit Moeller, 16, was knocked unconscious when he raised his arm in the distinctive salute to a Tube train passenger.
"My son is sick. He can't help himself. But there should be more awareness of the condition," said his mum Nicola Oeller.
