Heartbroken family members of veteran explorer Karlheinz Rolf are to sue airline authorities after the coffin with his body in it disappeared without trace on its way home following a mountain climbing accident.
Rolf, 71, died in a fall as he was experimenting with a new route up Mount Durmitor in Montenegro last month.
But his body went missing while it was being flown home to Dresden, Germany, via Serbia.
"All we want is to be able to say our farewells to him but nobody seems to know where his body is," his 85-year-old brother told local media.
Air officials in Montenegro have blamed a strike by Lufthansa workers for the loss.
