Wimbledon Leg-End

This life-sized one legged cut-out of former Wimbledon champ Boris Becker caught motorists on the hop when it was left standing in a road in Kiel, Germany.

Police believe the bogus Boris was abandoned on the unlit road by pranksters on their way home from the pub.

"It gave me a real shock when I saw those steely eyes in my headlights," one motorist told local police.

"It's an unlit country road and cars travel down it very quickly so it could have been very dangerous. Anyone would think it's a pedestrian they're about to knock down.

"Poor old Boris would never have been world champion looking like that though," said police spokesman Bernd Triphahn.
